IF We Only Knew

 

“If we only knew sooner than later when we stopped and marveled, 'How grand these newfound GMOs and pesticides are.'  But in haste we never paused to contemplate the subtle yet insidious danger. Now the damage is done. Will we continue on this path of degradation or fight ingrained greed and bureaucracy? Humanity’s fast-paced technological world has inspired us all with so much confidence in our human imperfection that little discretion remains at the helm. That is the true dilemma; we fully embrace 'scientific' knowledge unaware that 99.9999% of existing knowledge is yet to be discovered. That devilish devil we’ve only heard of in stories is always in the details and if his hidden details were drops of rain, we should surely have drowned already. Our self-assurance has deceived us all into believing we can fully tame this ubiquitous poison — that which is a beast allowed run wild to steal our very vitality. It’s up to us all to fight the fight (once and for all) and eliminate it from our company. We can then proudly say we knew and acted — not just for us, but for our children's children too.”
